A: Your samples will be tested in our world class CLIA certified labs that physicians regularly use. This certification ensures these labs meet stringent regulatory requirements.
The Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) regulations include federal standards applicable to all U.S. facilities or sites that test human specimens for health assessment or to diagnose, prevent, or treat disease. CDC, in partnership with CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services) and FDA (Food and Drug Administration) supports the CLIA program and clinical laboratory quality. Additionally, all the labs need to meet the state regulations.
A: Once the test is ordered at RxHomeTest.com, you should receive the kit in about 3-5 business days with a prepaid return envelope. Once you ship the sample and the lab starts processing it, you should receive the results in about 5-7 business days.
A: You can use HSA (or FSA/MSA/HRA) accounts to pay for the tests since these are prescription tests (for further confirmation, please check the IRS publication#969). Insurance plans vary by individuals, therefore we can not guarantee your HSA payment will always be processed by your plan. Please talk to your insurance provider if you have any further concerns.
We are happy to provide an invoice to submit to your insurance company for re-imbursement (please note that some of the tests might not be covered by insurance).
